The historic charm of the hotel and the friendly staff were the best aspects of our stay. The hotel was adorned with fascinating artifacts and had a beautiful arboretum. The location was key, right in the center of town, close to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed the comfortable beds and the spacious rooms with their own sun terraces.
The selection was average at best and the bacon was greasy and tasteless. There were also some issues with the hot water and the window frames in our room.
